Stories, insights, and a beekeeper’s perspective.
Meet the Beekeeper
Jason Crook | Founder, Bohemia Apiary
I’m Jason Crook, founder of Bohemia Apiary in Warwick, Maryland. Since 2015, I’ve spent more than a decade tending bees, harvesting honey, and sharing what these remarkable insects teach us.
I earned my Master Beekeeper certification through the University of Montana in 2020, complementing hands-on experience in colony management, queen rearing, swarm removals, and pollination. Through community programs, classroom visits, and my 52 Weeks of Beekeeping video series, I make learning about bees approachable—with practical knowledge and a little humor.
Bring a Little Buzz to Your Next Event
Available for speaking engagements, classroom visits, and educational programs, I tailor presentations for schools, garden clubs, agricultural organizations, and community groups. Topics include honeybee biology, beginning beekeeping, and the vital connection between pollinators and our food.
Contact Bohemia Apiary with your event date, location, and audience details. Let’s get people buzzing.
